Annual plans advertise 20-30% off. The break-even is usually somewhere around month 8-10.

Go monthly when

• You are finishing one course, not browsing.
• The course is under 10 weeks.
• You have not tested the platform on your actual device yet.
• Exam season ends before month 9.

Go annual when

• You have already renewed monthly twice.
• The annual tier bundles certificates you would buy anyway.
• The platform locks price at signup rather than at renewal.

Check whether pausing is allowed. Some annual plans permit one pause of 30-60 days; most do not.
